1980 Mercedes Benz 240D

1980 Mercedes 240D. Very nice condition. No rust, orth Carolina car. One woman owner for most of it's life. Replaced all front suspension with German parts including Bilstein shocks and Bilstein steering stabilizer. New motor mounts, attery, ccelerator swivels, lignment, ebuilt starter motor, rake rotors and pads, ow mileage tires. Original seats and interior with no rips in seats. Very small cracks in dash. Air and cruise not working otherwise everything works. Still a very proud car. Will not disappoint. Strongly advise pre check to confirm the outstanding condition. It was my summer car in Maine and don't use a title on 30+ year old cars. I do have the old NC title. Now located in NC.

ebay keeps a seller on their toes. Had a question about the odometer. The odometer does not work. The woman I bought the car from in Southern Pines said the odometer stopped shortly before shequit driving the car. It read 127,000 when I got it. I am guessing I put less than 4000 miles a summer on it. I've had it 4+ years so I gave it a little more saying 155,000 to be safe. I drove the car home to Maine from NC, 100 miles. It would make that trip now I am sure. Ithas beena very reliable car.
