This stunning, estored, umbers matching Z/28 is one of the earliest of the 20,302 total produced and was built at the Norwood, H plant, ssembled in late October 1968. Fast forward to 2016 and the Z/28 is still powered by its original, umbers matching 302ci DZ solid-lifter V8. Certified by renowned Camaro expert, erry MacNeish, his Z/28 has been authenticated that the engine, ransmission and rear axle are the original units installed at the Chevrolet factory. Mr. MacNeish stated in his report that "Original Z/28s' are very hard to find in today's Camaro collector world", urther enhancing this example's significance. General Motors and Chevrolet conservatively rated these engines at 290 horsepower, owever the performance lends to a higher output number. It has been repainted in its original color of Fathom Green (correct to factory trim tag) and the White Parchment interior is in excellent condition.
