Good restoration project, ostly original, as not been ran since parked 8 years ago. Very solid and strait body with the exception of some areas of rust problems. Frame is very solid with no issues other than typical surface corrosion. Some water and moisture damage in the interior from sitting. Definitely a complete project restoration or fix it up as a cool rat rod car. We acquired it from someone who inherited it from their father who was the second owner. Prior to that I do not know. They drove it from West Virginia to Virginia in 2005, an it around some here in VA for a few years until parking it in 2009 due to some brake problems and such. We have not tried to start the car, am sure it will need work before it can be ran from it sitting so long. The levers going to the carburetor are frozen from sitting, o I am sure that as well as a carburetor rebuild, uel lines, nd such will need to be done prior to even attempting to run it. If you are familiar with old cars and restoration, han you already know that. The doors, runk, ood, tc open and shut very well and tightly and are perfectly strait. This car will need a lot of work, ore than I sure I am aware of, s I know nothing about restoration. This is a rare car, ven in this condition, hope it finds a good home. Please view all photos to get an idea on condition, nd ask any questions if you have any. I will answer the best I can with the knowledge I have.
We are selling this car to help fund our Mission Trip to New Mexico to help a pastor friend of ours and his ministry in the Navajo community on the reservation. We are excited about this, nd the sale of this car should fund our entire trip there, urchase the supplies we need for the things we plan to do, nd even make a large donation to their ministry to help in their continuation in ministering to the Navajo community.
Buyer is responsible for pickup up and/or shipping. A flatbed or very large trailer will be needed, ar is 4300 lbs. Also, hen we transported it, he rear tires would not move because of the brakes being frozen and/or rusted from sitting. So keep that in mind, t was a little tricky to load and unload, ut not too hard, ust took some patience.
CAR IS SOLD COMPLETELY AS IS, S LISTED!!!!
