2000 Lotus Esprit V8 Twin Turbo, uprated/DYNO verified 432 HP, VIDEOS! Hang on!

If you want to look like a million bucks and spend a whole lot less. this car is an awesome choice. You get supercar looks and blinding performance at an affordable price. This car is from the final series of Esprits. and this last generation is the fastest and most refined of the breed! Stock 350 HP is nice BUT this particular example was amped-up even further to 432 HP by the prior owner in 2009. All receipts are included (see photo) for this major performance upgrade. The upgrades and maintenance total $22. 86! He removed the correct number matching original engine and rebuilt it with forged std bore (stronger) pistons. New heavy duty cam timing belts were also put in. along with new piston rings and any valves as needed. A new clutch was installed. along with anything else that was needed. and the whole project was meticulously done with no expense spared. This was all done about 15k miles ago. Next came a high performance computer chip. high flow K & N air filters and high flow catalytic converters. and an improved aluminum radiator with an extra row for better cooling. The result is simply a blast to drive. A Dyno test result is included in the file to confirm that the power is 367. 8HP at the drive wheels. which converts to 432 HP at the crank. a significant increase over stock. Published (stock) 0-60 times are 4. 5 seconds. and with the engine improvements here. it's anyone's guess how much that is improved for this particular example. All I know is that once the boost comes on around 4k RPM. HANG ON! Brakes are excellent. and anti-lock as well. You should be able to get a feel for the awesome acceleration and stopping performance in the video below: This car is in excellent condition throughout. The body is excellent. with no dings or damage. The factory paint is excellent. with a wonderful metallic sheen. The bland stock steering wheel has been upgraded to a much racier custom fit Raid wheel. which still holds the original airbag. Most people go after a performance wheel and lose the airbag on these cars--not so here. this builder paid more to keep the airbag in place for the driver. Tires are nearly new. Starter motor is new. Alternator has been rebuilt. Oil cooler lines have been replaced. Interior is excellent. Carpet is excellent. Only flaws are a few minor paint stone chips on front bumper cover and one small scratch on the left rear fender. all of which are impossible to photograph because they are so small. This car is very clean throughout. Doors close beautifully. front and rear hatches close beautifully. Starts and roars easily. Here's a longer drive in the video below. You can downshift for some sweet acceleration. and you can also upshift to loaf around in this car as well when you just want to take it easy. The car is versatile. easy to drive and tons of fun!!! This is a very special car because it is recent enough to have a lot of modern features and comforts (this one even has adjustable inflatable lumber back supports) and yet it has vintage lineage back to the first Esprits. It's easy to get in and drive and also is a raw and powerful monster that brings out the best in any driver.
