The Maserati Biturbo was the first ever production car with a twin-turbocharged engine. It also featured the first production car engine with three valves per cylinder. I'm the second owner of the vehicle. The first owner bought it new and drove it until the fuel pump went bad. He stored it in a warehouse with the plan to repair it but never did. I purchased the vehicle as a non runner about a year ago. A common problem on these cars was the ground that runs through the fuse box. It would overheat and then melt an area in the fuse box. It would cause certain things like electric windows, ac etc. not to work properly. I replaced the fuse box with a new one and also installed a new ground relay that diverts the ground from the fuse box. This was the fix the manufacturer made available to take care of the problem. The car runs well, everything works on it including the ac. It has a couple of surface rust spots on the bottom of every door as well as on one of the rocker panels. I had the following done to the vehicle: 1.) Replaced fuel pump with new pump. 2.) Cleaned out fuel tank and treated the inside. 3.) Replaced all fuel lines. 4.) Replaced all brake lines. 5.) Replaced all brake calipers with new ones. 6.) Resurfaced rotors. 7.) Replaced clutch slave cylinder 8.) Serviced engine. 9.) Replaced fuse box. 10.) Install new ground relay.
