1961 Fiat OSCA 1500 Spyder Black plate California car The Fiat OSCA's are a marriage between Fiat and the Maserati brothers (OSCA) with the body provided by Pinninfarina. In 1937 the Maserati Brothers sold The Maserati car company to the Orsi family. By 1947 they were free to go out on their own. O. S. C. A was their next venture. The were very successful with their 750cc 1100cc and 1500cc race cars. In the late 1950's they came to an agreement with Fiat where they would design a twin cam motor which Fiat and OSCA would both use. Hence the Fiat OSCA 1500 (Pinninfaraina) was born along side the OSCA 1600 typically clothed in a Zagato body. The Fiat OSCA's are quite rare. Thankfully they share a lot of body and trim parts with the Fiat 1200 of the period. Making most spares relatively inexpensive. An excellent rustfree car for restoration. Correct Fiat OSCA wheels.
