Mazda has done a great job with the chassis, xcellent transmission and engine. 80% of miles are Highway since I have a daily 100-mile commute on HWY 121/820 between Plano and Fort Worth. Over the past 18 months, have averaged 34.5 mpg (uses 87-octane Gasoline). Mazda has done an excellent job putting together the chassis, xcellent and smooth 6-speed Manual transmission and probably best in class steering on this vehicle.
