Description

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ITEM IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO LAST WINNING BIDDER NOT PAYING!! SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!! I love this car and I just know that the lucky winner of this auction will love it just as much as I do! Driving this car down the road is a major attention-getter and I have never taken this car out for a drive without garnering envy in at least one person who knows exactly how special this car is.This car is a dream to drive and I will miss it greatly!
Before I give you the specs and details on this car I want to let you know why I am selling a car that I love so much and hoped to have for a long time, ven be able to pass it on to my kids some day.
I am a single mother of two teenage boys. I have recently gotten divorced and due to those (and other) circumstances, y house is in foreclosure (because of the housing crash I owe far more on my home than it will ever be worth again). Finances are extremely tight and in order to secure a new place for us to live I need to sell this beloved car. And, need to sell it for as much as I possibly can. I sincerely hope that I can not only sell this car to someone who will care for it as much as I have, ut also to someone who can understand adversity and is willing to help someone out in their time of need. This is a vehicle that will only gain in value over the years and I know that whatever amount is ultimately paid for this car it will be worth that much and more in the years to come.
I am hoping to get at least $15,000 total for this vehicle. I have set a reserve price below that although I am hoping beyond hope that it will reach at least the $15,000. I need a solid chunk of money to help us through this difficult transition period so we can get back on our feet once more. If I had any other option I would not be selling this car. I will sell every possession I have if it ensures the safety and well-being of me and my children, lthough I hope it won't come to that. There is more to my story, ut rather than talk about that I will tell you about the car...
So, bout the car:

This is the RX7 R1, hich is the racing version. It has the black racing interior (special non-slip fabric on the seats), win-rotor, win turbo, .3-liter rotary engine with a strut tower brace to increase rigidity, uts out 255 hp through a Torsen limited slip differential racing clutch, ual oil coolers, nd the racing transmission. It has tightersportsuspension and steering as well. There is 87,603 miles on the chassis (photo attached) and less than 10K on a rebuilt engine. Brand new tires and brakes were put on not too long ago (might have 100 miles on them if lucky), ew engine mounts installed a couple years ago, nd brand new battery. TheR1 trim includes the rear wing and front air dams to keep the brakes cool. brand newHD radio with CD player and aportfor plugging in a phone, -pad, r MP3 player, lso has a remote. Chassis is straight.
This car is in very good condition. If it were in showroom condition I could easily sell it for $22-26,000.00, ut she needs a little bit of TLC.
Interior carpet is in perfect condition, he seats have no rips or tears except for one small spot on the drivers seat (photo attached). One small spot on the dash shows a slight separation (photoattached). The paint has a few scratches and dings and there is a chip out of the hood by the left headlight (photoattached) and a white (paint color of the other car) scratch on the front drivers side fender thanks to some jerk while I was parked. Drivers side headlight needs to be adjusted slightly, he rubber trim slid down underneath (photo attached). The center console cover needs to be replaced, t is cracked underneath the vinyl (can't be seen but can be felt). The drivers side door handle "pocket" is cracked inside (couldn't get a photo because of the placement of the crack- but an inexpensive part to replace). Spare tire cover in back has a chewed out spot on right side, robably from a mouse (photo attached). There are sticky spots on the dash from a dash cover put on it by the previous owner (going to try to get it off with Goo Gone before selling). There is one small spot where paint is bubbling at rear wing (photo attached). Took it to two different mechanics that specialized in Mazdas in the area after I purchased it, ne told me the compression was slightly low on the engine and one told me the engine was in great condition. As stated above, he engine was rebuilt several years ago (I have all the paperwork for all work done on the car when my stepdad had it). It runs well, as a lot of power (I never got it up to full speed when I drove it), ransmission shifts beautifully and the clutch is smooth.
I included all photos I could think of, f there is something missing let me know. I can also send a video of the car running and/or being driven. If you are local to the South Florida area and would like to come see it contact me and we can arrange a time.

An additional note: I do not know why the previous winner of the auction did not pay. After winning the auction they vanished. Despite my many attempts to reach them about payment and pickup of the car they never replied. From what I understand this is not an uncommon happening on Ebay, nd when you have a higher priced item up for auction you run the risk of the winner skipping out on their obligation. The winner only had two purchases on Ebay, aybe this is why. I am now (not unreasonably) concerned about bidders with little to no bidding history, ut of concern that there will be a repeat. Their lack of payment has nothing to do with the car, he vehicle is exactly as described and pictured in this auction. Please, nly bid if you are serious about the vehicle and are prepared to pay the amount if you win. Please be a responsible bidder. Thank you.
