This is the limited edition 2005 RX-8 SHINKA. This vehicle is production number 1225 of 1357 total units sold only in North America - rarest of the rare! The exterior paint color is a unique black cherry mica (05 Shinka only). Under the sun, t shines with a slight purplish tint. At night, t glows like a black gem! The interior colors are two-toned black and tan while the seats are made of parchment leather. The Shinka was fully loaded out of the factory. Because a recent compression test came back with slightly unsatisfactory results, azda replaced the engine under its warranty program. New engine has only 2000 miles on it! Spark plugs, gnition coils, nd wires were replaced around the same time. The transmission was replaced last year due to normal wear. Brake pads and rotors were replaced about two years and 20,000 miles ago.

Earlier last year, have spent close to $1000 detailing this car inside and out by a professional detailing service. New Mazda OEM floor mats were also installed. The maintenance record on it has been impeccable as 99% of the time I have only taken it to the Mazda dealership for service even for oil changes. Why would I want to sell this car considering the amount of care I have put into this baby? The reason is I have a family with kids, nd we are moving to a smaller residence where it becomes impractical to have a second car. So in the decision to choose between our family sedan and this little gem, think I am doing the right thing. It is my hope that it will continue to have a happy home.
