1968 Chevrolet C20, Long Box, 2wd, Pickup

1968 Chevrolet C20, /4 T, ong box, wd pickup in largely original condition. Original 327 ci motor with TH400 automatic transmission and factory AC. Coil spring rear suspension with overload leaf springs and a 10 bolt rear end. 7500 GVW stamped on door jamb VIN tag. Custom Camper trim.
Mostly original paint in saddle/off white (04555AD). Some older bodywork done on right fender. Balance of sheet metal is reasonably straight and rust free. Tailgate is in very good condition. Will need rockers replaced, ut undercarriage and cab mounts appear solid. Original wood bed floor is usable, ut should be replaced. Lower molding trim holes, our per side bed tie downs, ultiple holes in doors for (apparently) various mirrors, nd hacked cutouts for left and right side fuel tank filler necks appear to be the only sheet metal flaws outside of misc. dings and dents. Doors do not have speaker hole cutouts.
The bench seat, eriously worn, ppears to have the original GM seat covering. Original GM push button, M radio is in an uncut dash. No head liner and no outside rear bed light. Rear slider glass is not factory. Windshield is cracked. AC compressor appears to be an original Frigidaire unit, pins freely, ut the AC system is not functioning.
The engine block number is 3914678, nd the passenger side block land is V?07?M? plus 5714. My research shows that this is a 1968 327 ci, 50 hp motor without AIR, ith a turbo hydramatic transmission, wo bolt mains and a large journal crank. You should do your own research. The truck starts, dles and runs, ut should be trailered or shipped any distance because of some fairly iffy engine bay wiring. Long term eastern Washington and north Idaho truck.
