FOR SALE I HAVE 1986 CHEVROLET K10 IN ORIGINAL CANYON COPPER METALLIC OR RUSSET COLOR.WAS AN ORIGINAL AIR CONDITIONED BUT COMPRESSOR AND CONDENSER AND LINES ARE NOT THERE.TRUCK IS VERY STRAIGHT BUT DOES HAVE SOME DENTS AND DINGS AND ONLY 1 SPOT OF RUST ON THE BODY THAT I COULD FIND[SEE PIC #19] AND NONE ON THE FRAME/UNDERCARRIAGE.THERE IS SOME FADING ON THE ROOF BUT ALSO NOT SERIOUS.THIS TRUCK COULD BE THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR.INTERIOR WOULD BE EASY TO RESTORE AS WELL[REPLACE DASH PAD,RECOVER OR REPAIR ORIGINAL SEAT,HAS THE ORIGINAL VINYL FLOOR MATS THAT COULD BE REPLACED[NOT BAD].AS FOR THE RUNNING DRIVING OF THE TRUCK,THERE HAVE BEEN SOME MODS AS THE TRUCK HAS HEADERS,FLOWMASTERS OR SIMILAR MUFFLERS WITH CHROME EXHAUST TIPS AND AN ALUMINUM SUMMIT INTAKE.WHEN I GOT IT,THERE WAS A FORD 2 BARREL CARB ON THERE SO I REPLACED IT WITH A QUADRAJET FROM EBAY.THIS CARB NEEDS A KIT OR ADJUSTING AS I AM NOT KNOWLEGEABLE OF THEM.THE ENGINE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A 5.0 305 BUT EITHER HAS DIFFERENT HEADS OR HAS BEEN REPLACED.IT MAY BE A 350,I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE.RUNS BUT HAS A LOPE WHICH COULD BE THE CAMSHAFT[I AM INCLUDING ANOTHER ONE FROM A JUNKYARD].THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS FINE[700R4].TRANSFER CASE WORKS AS IT SHOULD AND 4 WHEEL DRIVE IS AUTO SHIFT FROM THE FLOOR[NO LOCKING IN THE HUBS].THERE IS SOME PLAY IN THE STEERING BUT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ADJUST IT OUT,REPLACE RAG JOINT OR MAY NEED STEERING BOX,I'M NOT SURE.THERE IS WEAR TO THE BALL JOINTS AND ALL BUT I BELIEVE THE PLAY IS IN THE STEERING SECTOR AREA.WITH A LITTLE WORK THIS COULD BE A DAILY DRIVER.YOU COULD DRIVE THIS HOME BUT WITH THE CARB OUT OF ADJUSTMENT IT IS FLOODING A LITTLE AND USES A LOT OF GAS...I WOULD RECOMMEND A TRAILER,ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE LONG DISTANCE.BRAKES WORK AND EMERGENCY BRAKE WORKS BUT TIRES ARE LESS THAN HALF SO IT WOULD BE UP TO YOU...
