Ok folks here it is. This is a 1968 Mustang Coupe that has been specially made to the taste of those who built it. At first we were going to just make a simple recreation of the famous Shelby California Special. sell it and be done with it and move on to the next project. Then a couple guys in the shop over time started talking alot about the EXP 500 which is another very kool (yes I spelled that with a K) car from that same time era that closely resembles the GT/CS. So to make a super looong story short- we just decided to do our own version of both. but make it truely one of a kind. one that nobody had ever seen. with each of our own ideas embedded in the project in one way or another. and boy did we ever! Ok ill talk about the car. lol The guy I bought the car from had bought it just few months earlier from a young man that pretty much had the same innitial idea that we did. he spent a ton of money building the 302 stroker motor (347) that sits in it. putting roller rockers a high performance cam and who really knows what else considering shortly after he had it finished he passed away. his grandparents held on to the car for a while for sentimental reasons i can imagine and finally let go of it to the guy I got it from. ( I am actually in the process as I speak to contact his grandparents to see if they know any details of who built the motor for him. and what is actually in there) But I can tell you that it is nothing short of a monster in all sense of the word. whatever they did and who - did it right. When we took off the valve covers to paint them the roller rockers looked brand spankin new the oil looked new and this thing screams like a banshee even after the brand new Magna Flow ehausts were installed. very throaty and i have never drivin a car this punchy and the response time is just Bam! Right there every time. She has a T-5 5-speed in her which really compliments the power as well as a posi-track rear end that loves to bark with no effort at all. Ok now the body and paint. which is the best part of the car and my real area of specialty. we went with a matrix system Glacier white with a white ice pearl (dry pearl that mixes into a clear or the like). and a House of Kolour Stratto Blue Pearl also with the white ice pearl overlay and I dont even have to say anymore. the paint speaks for itself. you havent seen one like this ladies and gents it is a true neck-breaker. people will literally pull over (in brand new mustangs-challangers-ect) just to see what bad ass looking and sounding hot-rod just crept up on them. that happened to me the day I took it to have the windows tinted. anyway if you have any questions feel free to ask. ill do my very best to answer them all good luck with the bidding and whoever ends up with her just know there is a whole crew here that put in alot of late late days to make this car as absolutely beautiful as it is it will truely amaze you. thanx and good luck
