The C230 is only available in Sport guise. while the other two models are available either way. The C230 is powered by a 201-horsepower. 2. 5L V6 engine. while the C280 comes with a 228-horsepower. 3. 0L V6 and the C350 gets a 268-horsepower. 3. 5L version of the same V6 family. Each of the V6 engines have aluminum construction and four valves per cylinder. with variable valve timing for good response throughout the rev range. The C230 Sport and C350 Sport come with a six-speed manual transmission; a seven-speed automatic is optional on those and standard on Luxury models. 4MATIC full-time all-wheel drive is optional on C280 and C350 Luxury models. and includes a five-speed automatic transmission instead.
