180 Db with 4 speed manual transmission mounted on the column.

This is a 180Db model. which were made in 1960 & 1961 only. It has a four cylinder 1. 8 liter diesel engine with a 4 speed manual transmission mounted on the steering column. I rescued this car in 2007 where it sat for 30 years so it is a true barn find. I went through the car and reconditioned what needed to be done in order to make it a daily driver. The odometer reads 66. 00 which I believe to be 166. 00. That would be an average of approximately 9788 per year from 1960 – 1977 and less than 200 since I have owned it. The new parts installed include a complete braking system. i. e. new wheel cylinders and master cylinder rebuilt with stainless steel sleeves. New OEM front and rear brake flexible rubber hoses. and newly relined brake shoes with a complete hydraulic system flush. Radiator professionally boiled out and repaired as where the heater boxes. All flexible water hoses. clamps. fan belt etc are newly replaced. OEM new water pump. OEM new engine mounts. New glow plugs where added and I changed them from in series to parallel. which gives a quicker start time. and dependability. New starter solenoid. The heater/defroster air intake insect screens have been reconditioned. and refinished. On the interior: New seat upholstery with vinyl material. which requires no maintenance and will long outlast leather. Refurbished front door panels to match upholstery that came out of a 220 sedan thus have a storage pocket. All gauges and instruments work as new and all of the miniature dash light bulbs were replaced if needed. New cream colored Acme headliner. New wind lace. New rubberized OEM door sill mats. New OEM door rubber surrounds. Original floor mats in fair shape. I also have the radio power supply. two radios (condition unknown). and the Bakelite radio insert. which are not installed in the car. On the Exterior New paint that is an exact match to the original color (DB658)New Firestone tires in the correct radial size of 185/80R13 with less than 200 miles on them.
