Mercedes Benz 1999 SLK230

1999 Mercedes SLK230. I bought this car used at about 110K and used it as an alternate to my Ford Van. It always gets good mileage and has plenty of power when the supercharger kicks in. We are now taking care of our grand daughter part time and needed a rear seat. I now have a 2007 Mini Cooper. The Mercedes has some issues. some good and some not. The Good. Runs and drives great. Has had regular oil and filter changes. Just changed oil and filter and replaced Spark Plugs and Insulators. No oil or coolant leaks. Passes Smog easily. very low emissions. Transmission works smooth and correct. All lights and brakes work as well. The retractable top works fine. just rebuilt top latch cylinder. The Not So Good. The AC Compressor is going bad. disconnected its electric clutch to prevent total failure. Heater and Blower work fine. Top lock cylinder. now rebuilt. had leaked fluid onto headliner and pad which I have removed and stored. included if wanted. Door and fender paint clearcoat going bad. has minor door dings. Had top. hood. and trunk repainted several years ago. Interior grey paint chipped and scratched. Seats show wear with some damage to outer edge of drivers seat. Had a lot of fun with this car. but time to move on. As Is and Where Is. Will help with any delivery or shipping. Clear California Title in hand.
