Rover has a new in tank fuel pump. Tires are in fair condition. House mechanic has narrowed starting problem to mass air flow sensor- it has been removed and Rover is now running consistently; will need another mass air flow sensor. This Rover is actually a great automobile worth a lot more than what is being asked for it here; monetary issues dictate the need to sell this vehicle- otherwise we would gladly be keeping it. Have had the vehicle about three years and it was always a reliable mode of transportation.
