1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic Sport Utility 4-Door 4.0L

Very reliable 1996 Jeep cherokee. Still runs well despite the age and miles. This jeep has been in my family for almost 20 years. has had three drivers. and it just will not die. It is a great all weather 4x4 utility vehicle. and I would still trust this jeep on a 300 mile day trip to Vermont and back mid winter. It never fails to start up and run strong. Mechanically there have been no major issues. The body does have character (dings. dents. scuffs. rust. faded paint). but nothing major. Mechanically and electrically everything works as it should. particularly because almost everything is manual other than the transmission). The jeep has fairly new breaks. rotors. and all terrain tires. It is fresh off a new oil change and the entire exhaust system is brand new (emissions is no problem). I will be sad to see it go. but I just bought another jeep and I won't get much more use out of the '96. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup arrangements. I have an optional Yakima roof rack for the jeep that I will sell for an additional $150.
