1990 Mercedes 300SL, great daily driver

Your looking at a 1990 300SL convertible. which is a good daily driver. It has the 3. 0L. 6 cylinder DOHC motor. so it still has the power. with the good gas mileage. The car comes with the hard top and the soft top. The soft top does have a very small cut in it. However. the soft top does not leak. The hard top inner head liner needs to be reglued. However. not noticeable unless you look for it. The automatic transmission has been replaced. so she shift smoothly. The front struts have been replaced. along with two new front tires. The rear tire are still good. with about 7. 5mm of thread left on them. The owner has done a major servicing on the car. He replaced oil/filter. air & cabin air filters. gas filter. spark plugs. belts. radiator. and water pump. The AC blow cold air. and the heater works just as good. There are no leaks from the engine. There are head light wiper/washers. So. you can see why this car operates as it should. good maintenance. As with any old car (this one at 25yrs young) there will be a few scratches. dings. and minor things that the new owner may want to change. The interior is in good shape and includes a wind deflector. for when the soft top is down. However. drivers seat does have two holes in the seat. This can be fixed. or just install a sheep skin cover. and it will look really nice. I mention the issues with the top. The front lower portion of the bumper has some cracks. A temporary fix has been done. so that there is no further damage being done. The right side fog light lens cover is cracked. but the gas is still there and the light works. The right side skirt has a small split in it. The rear bumper has some cracks and fading in the paint. As I mentioned. these are all cosmetic issues that can easily be repaired or replaced. I have included pictures. This car can be a dependable daily drive. or with some effort. be a real nice collectable. The prices for the older generation SL's are going through the roof.
