This 2014 C63 AMG "Edition 507" is just about the single coolest "driver's car" out there. Marking the final year of the beloved 6.3 liter M156 V8 engine, he "Edition 507" wraps up the W204 C63 in the handsomest and 2nd most powerful iteration to date, mere three horsepower shy of the legendary 510hp black series.
Edition 507 package makes these changes to a standard C63:
  • 507 horsepowervariant of the M156 6.3L engine
- Forged rotating assembly (i.e. pistons, ods and crankshaft) directly from the AMG SLS equipped M159 engine saving 6.6 lbs of rotational mass and increasing power output
  • Black Seriesvented hood
  • 14.2" composite brake rotors on all four corners
  • 19" forged "Edition 507" wheels (factory satin black)
  • Factory blacked out grill and DRL surrounds
  • Designo Porcelain/Black alcantara interior exclusive to the 507 C63
Being only produced for five months makes the sedan variant of the Edition 507 very rare. It's estimated about 100 examples reside within the US and no more than 1,000 world wide. Again, his is of the sedan only.
Pictured is the car's window sticker with option list including the AMG Performance Media real-time telemetry interface (exclusive to the SLS, 63 Black Series and Edition 507).
Modifications are mild to maintain factory warranty, unction and quality:

  • Shaved side marker lamps - if you search images of C63, ou'll notice US spec cars have an amber side marker. EU spec cars do not. I simply converted the bumper to EU spec.

This car was used in Mode Carbon's marketing campaign for their Luftstrom line of OEM quality carbon fiber parts.
