Original Black on Black 1989 Mercedes 560 SEC in Excellent Condition

1989 Black on Black Mercedes in excellent condition-just turn the key and it fires right up. The car was originally purchased at Beverly Hills Mercedes by Ron Meyer who was co-founder of Creative Artists Agency in Hollywood, erved as President and CEO of Universal Studios and is now Vice President of NBC Universal. His wife was Ellen Meyer who was a very well known casting director and daughter Jen Meyer is married to the actor Toby Maguire. At about the 80,000 mile mark (1996) it was either traded in or sold to it's second owner a very well known Architect in the Los Angeles area who sold it to my friend in 2006 at around the 165,000 mile mark.(he kept all receipts and they start at 86000 miles-when the architect purchased it) My friend sold it to me a couple of years ago and he kept all receipts on the car as well. I have also kept all my receipts on the car. My friend, ight after purchasing it, put approximately $4700 in doing a valve job and other miscellaneous work on the engine, ncluding a new water pump and some other various hoses-(have receipts of course) He then, ook the car to A&G auto sound in Whittier, here they put in a $4000+ audio system including a Clarion, atellite ready, d/dvd player with audiobahn amplifiers, kicker subwoofer etc. (quite honestly, y friend was in his 40's and I think he was having a mid-life crisis, nd I doubt he ever enjoyed the system), remote start, iper alarm system, touch windows and 20" ASANTI RIMS that he spent another $5000 on. (of course receipts attached) He then replaced all the injectors and I believe shocks around the 175,000 mile mark and at the 198,000 mile mark, ll belts were changed out. I personally have only put a couple of thousand miles on it and I have put approximately $3000 in it on a new hydraulic pump for the suspension, uneup, nd other miscellaneous fix its. It has BRAND NEW TIRES and was just serviced by Exclusive Motors in Placentia. I put a brand NEW battery in it yesterday. It easily passed smog. It has NEVER been in any accidents. Other than a few months my friend spent in Georgia with it (he had it put on a flatbed to get it there), t has been in California its whole life. This car is absolutely beautiful and a major head turner. It drives amazing and is tight as a drum on the road. This could be a great daily driver for someone looking for a beautiful looking classic Mercedes to cruise around in (For lack of a better term, t is a beautifully mean looking car) or take it back to original. The leather is original except for one panel repaired on the drivers seat and looks excellent. The wood grain is in 8/10 condition and the seats are electric/heated...and they work. The ashtray lighter in the back even works. The ashtray in the front was removed to put in the new stereo, ut I have it and it is in the trunk of the car. It also has fog lights. I have the original manuals, ercedes tools/jack and the service pamphlet that shows Ron and Ellen Meyer as the original owners. An original black on black combo is very hard to find in this kind of condition..it's a very nice car. Jeff (213) 210-5535
