Again, his is a No-Reserve auction. High bidder wins. This car runs and drives good, nd the All-Wheel-Drive system works great; The engine has lots of power, t idles very smooth and the transmission shifts like it should. The car has very low miles, ust over 50k, ith a near perfect exterior, o dents or scratches anywhere, ut a minor shopping cart ding or two and a couple of small scratches on the roof. The right side lower plastic rocker cover is damaged when it went over the curb; that's only a $300 part new from Mercedes, ut costs much less aftermarket. I found a used one here on Ebay for only $75 a while back but have since decided to just sell the car and let someone else enjoy this nice car. The interior is in great shape as well for an 11-year old car. No check-engine light. See pictures below.
Options:* 5.0L V-8 with 4-Matic (all wheel drive).* Push button engine start.* AirMatic (automatic load leveling air suspension), orks good, ar goes up and down like it should when buttons are pressed.* Perforated leather seats that are both heated and cooled with MASSAGE and memory feature.* Power moonroof, ower rear window screen, ower rear headrest release.* Factory Navigation* Michelin performance tires which have about 90% tread left (All 4).* Heated steering wheel with power tilt and power telescopic function.* Harman Kardon sound system.* Dual climate control for front passengers AND dual climate control for rear passengers. A/C and heat work great.* The original headlights were cloudy so the headlights were updated to new style projection HID lamps withLED daytime runninglights about 6 months ago at a cost of about $750 per headlight (see pictures). Also, n AMG style bumper with fogs and AMG grille were added at that time as well. Both tail lights are also newer LED style.
Condition and Known issues: My wife jumped a curb when she slid in the snow this past winter but she drove the car home. Runs and drives but in order for it to be 100% correct, t needs an alignment, hich cannot be done until the suspension issue is resolved. Also, he SRS light is on, o airbags were deployed, ut the passenger seat belt is locked (daughter was in the car) and needs to be repaired or replaced. There is a noise in the right rear corner when going over bumps...sounds like a loose or broken stabilizer link, way bar bushing or at worst case the strut is bad, robably also as a result of going over the curb. The brake pad wear indicator is lit due to the front brake pads being a bit worn but still have about 1/8" of material left. Brake pads are $40 new at any part store. There is also a message on the display with a fault to the AirMatic system probably due to the rear strut damage.
The car is being sold As Is, ith Known issues as described above, nd the buyer assumes all costs for repairs. The car can be driven on the road and I have driven it like this for a couple months on short trips. But because of the suspension issue and for legal purposes, will state that I recommend the car to betowed; I've been driving it at up to 60MPH without issue, ut that's entirely up to you.
