Up for auction selling no reserve is this highly desirable 1964 Mercedes Benz SL 230 Pagoda Roadster. This 230 is an all original car, howing only 29000 actual miles, nly 27850 actual miles on the Arizona Title before it was imported into Alberta, anada in 2004 and just over 1150 miles since than, ow!
This car has never been restored, ather exceptionally maintained over the years and driven and enjoyed. The car is virtually original with exception of one repaint in its factory Signal Red over 25 years ago. The drive train is in great shape and is all original factory numbers matching, nd the the 2.3 L EFI performs very nicely complimented with the factory 4 speed manual transmission.
One of the coolest qualities of this Pagoda is it has the rare factory optional leather seats, till in great original shape with just the right amount of wear. The Exterior Paint is presentable and has a great shine. It has had one quality repaint over 25 years ago so there is some touch ups here and there by hood lines, nd a few knicks - scratches in the paint, hey may be able to be buffed out if you choose, ut very straight panel car all in all. Paint is not show quality of course, t is 25 years old, ut was a high quality professionally applied.
Chrome bumpers are in great shape as you can see by the photos, s well as the grill and trim. Center MB badge on hood is original and shows some age.
The paint isn't perfect with a few nicks and minor blemishes but all in all very presentable for an all original 64 MB
