2012 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 Extended- Start Your Expediting Career Off Right

Here we have a one of a kind Ultimate Expeditor Van rig. This van is a 2012 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 Extended Van that we had customized for our over the road drivers. This van has as standard a 3.0 L V6 Mercedes Diesel Engine, ower Windows - Power Locks- Power Mirrors -Ice Cold AC, ruise Control, AM/FM Stereo With CD, river and Passenger Airbags and Climate Control.
This van was customized as follows: Its fully insulated from front to back with R21 value foam insulation. A triple reinforced custom wood bulkhead was installed behind the front seats with a locking sliding door. Under the passenger seat are 2- 6volt deep cycle 225 amp hour batteries wired together to form a 12volt battery supply for a 10,000 watt power inverter. The batteries are tied together with a battery separator keeping the vans battery isolated from the inverter batteries. Also installed is a battery charger that runs from an external power plug.
Running off the 10,000 watt inverter or external power plug is a mini refrigerator, icrowave, 8" digital TV with antenna, emote controlled track lighting and a Danby 8000BTU 240sqft. room air conditioner. Normally when customizing an expedite rig you either build a sleeper compartment that is permanent and reduces the hauling cargo area or you can make a fold down bed from the side wall, ut climate controlling that large an area when trying to sleep is almost impossible. We have changed that. We had designed and installed our patent pending movable bulkhead with fold down bed. The bulkhead is on rollers and snaps into the etrack to lock in position. It is very well insulated and has no air gaps. When on a delivery the bulkhead straps into the side wall etrack leaving room for 15ft of cargo space.

The van books for $27,000.00 with its current mileage of 171,750. Add in the options above and this van is easily valued at $43,000.00. Now to why we are selling it....Our customers have mileage limits on the vehicles we can use. Even though this van has been meticulously maintained, nd is in excellent-outstanding condition we can't exceed 200,000 miles by contract. So, e will by a new one and have the same package installed in it. That means we need to sell this one.
