This is a small bumper, 973 model 450SL. Same owner since 1982, urchased from original owner, lady doctor. Original metal 'Protecto-Plate' is with the car, s well as the original build card and all books and manuals.

Car was repainted years ago in its original color due to some sun fading, aint is in excellent condition with only minimal blemishes from regular use and driving. Original owner had the car treated by Zeibart when new, o it has never rusted. See underside photos to see original floors. Bundt wheels are in excellent condition. The soft top is in excellent condition also, he back windows are clean and clear, o cracks.

The interior seats have been recovered in tan leather (they were originally MB tex). The door panels, arpet, ash, tc. are all original and are in exceptional condition. There are no dash cracks, o holes have been cut in the rear parcel shelf for additional speakers... the interior is awesome. The original Becker radio has been replaced with a modern unit, ut is with the car and included in the sale. Also present with the car is the original tool roll in the trunk.

Mechanically the car is in great condition with recent service. It starts easily, dles smoothly and accelerates well up to speed, teering is tight and responsive... not vague and loose like so many older R107 body SLs that haven't been maintained. A recent service makes this car ready to drive anywhere today!

This is a well cared for car that looks stunning in person... it really does drive as good as it looks, t in no way feels like a 40+ year old car.
