You are bidding on a very beautiful and outstanding 1-Owner 2005 Mercedes Benz E320 CDI (TURBO DIESEL) with a 5-speed Automatic Transmission and has 143K all miles are from the state of Florida. This Mercedes is very fuel efficient since its a DIESEL engine with about 42MPG Highway resulting in huge savings on fuel cost. It runs and drives very well with smooth acceleration and shifts good from gear to gear. Also its very Quiet. This vehicle has only 143k Original Miles and for a Mercedes Engine it has many more miles to travel. I got this Mercedes from Fields Motorcars in Daytona Beach, L. It was traded in by the 1st Owner back in July.

For decades that was the Mercedes motto. But under the onslaught of new competitors from Japan and a surging BMW, he company in the early 1990s moved away from the cold rationality implied by that slogan and toward a warmer, nd perhaps fuzzier, mage of itself. Judging by this spanking-new E300, owever, e don't think anyone told the engineers about the change.

Although the car is 10 years old, t still drives like new. Having clocked 143,000 miles, he engine still has a lot of oomph... drove to the Lake District and the car's engine power could be felt on gradients where other cars struggled... the turbo diesel 3000 cc is a very powerful engine, nd when it came out it was the quickest diesel.

These cars are easily capable of doing over 500,000 miles without major issues with the engine, rovided the body does not rust away. I love mine, s I have maintained it with a specialist.

Pride, o they say, omes before a fall. That motto pretty much sums up Mercedes' fall from grace at the turn of the millennium.

We'll leave the fine detail to the automotive historians, ut nobody - not even Mercedes - disputes the Chrysler alliance went badly wrong. Coincidentally or otherwise, nosedive in Mercedes quality kicked in shortly after the 1998 merger/takeover, lighting Benzes for years after. Indeed, any Merc diehards have foresworn the brand for ever as a result of their experiences in the early 2000s.

This week's Shed, W211 E300 Turbodiesel, as born in that troubled year of 1998. Fear not, hough. By the looks of it, his one came off the line before the accountants replaced 'only the best' on the material procurement sheets with 'Borat grade'.

Superseding the oblong-headlamped W124, he four-light W211 was launched in 2003, acelifted in 2007, nd succeeded by the more slope-fronted W212 in 2011. This classic three-boxer reeks of respectability and solidity. It is a saloon, ull stop. As you'd expect, t does have automatic climate control, hich can fail, s can diesel injectors and glowplugs. A weird one to look out for is the transmission cooler housed inside the radiator, erhaps not the smartest piece of engineering design in M-B's history.

I've owned Mercedes and BMW's for years. They are strong, urable and get great mpg. Well it is a true fact that the older German cars are easier to maintain and less cost compared to the new ones. Back in the 90's to own one of these fine German cars you either have to be rich, ld, r a drug dealer if you were my age back in the day. Everybody knows during that time if you owned a Mercedes or BMW, ou had money and in that time of era cars wont even close to a Mercedes and BMW. Even Lexus was no where to being close to design and style. 20 years ago most cars were cheaply made but Mercedes and BMW were always Over Engineered during that time.
This E320 CDI(DIESEL) needs nothing for inspection runs and drives great (will go anywhere).
