This 2012 Mercedes-Benz has definitely been modded to the next level and is at home on the track as it is in a car show.Starting life as a rare CLK63 Black Series the crew at Weistec in Santa Ana used this car as a demo vehicle for their shop and the results are quite incredible.A Weistec supercharger was bolted onto the stock Mercedes V8 and this Black Series now makes over 670hp and 660 lb-ft of torque, n increase of over 150hp over an already powerful factory engine. Engine breathing was enhanced with a high-flow exhaust system and custom headers but the best part is a bypass valve that is controlled by a switch labeled “silence” or “violence” and changes the tone and loudness of the exhaust.The exterior was repainted a grey color and they did it right with the engine bay, ambs and trunk also painted from the BASF Glasurit JG Grey. A Vorsteiner carbon fiber spoiler adds a aggressive look to the front and a rare Varis Carbon Euro GT wing with CF uprights help traction to the rear wheels.The interior has been fully stripped and a NASA/SCCA approved 6-point cage has been installed with the driver sitting in a Sparco S-light seat. The cage was completed at one of the top fabricators in the country – Cantrell Motorsports. My favorite part of the car are the Moton Clubsport coilovers with remote reservoirs and the huge nickel plated Brembo monoblock calipers. These two parts not only look good but are the top products in their field. Even the tires are crazy with a set of Pirelli PZero Trofeo road race tires on all four corners.
