MERCEDES BENZ CL 500

Mercedes CL 500 once the flagship of the company which sold retail for over a$100,000 in the year 2000. A magnificent engineered vehicle making it great fun to drive. Don't let the miles scare you. Many of these vehicles run in excess of 1/2 million miles as long as it has been taking care of and this one always got the service and oil changes as required. As you can see on the pictures, he paint has real good gloss, here are no dents or any type of body work on the vehicle. It does have the usual nicks from pebbles kicked up from the car in front of you on the bumper and a few small ones on the lower part of the hood. The 19" tires are currently mounted on all chrome AMG wheels and have decent tread left. The winning bidder will also get another set of AMG Mercedes wheels ( Brushed aluminum). The tires on those rims however have minimal tread left. This vehicle has every option offered for that year, ncluding ice cold dual system AC.I owned that car for 7 years and I would like to get something a bit newer.

Being true to my 100% rating I also would like to point out that the car will need a couple of things done by the next owner ( That's why reserve is real low). The driver side rear hydraulic shock has a tiny small leak on top of the fitting. I am not sure if that can be repaired, f not these shocks are available on ebay for $350 to $500. For some reason yesterdaythe remote key (FOB) is not locking the door anymore, ut still activates the alarm system (??). A few months ago, discovered a power steering leak and ended up replacing the entire rack and pinion steering component. The technician told me to replace thetwo power steering hoses also, ut of course I thought this was just a typical up sell and didn't have it done. Well now I have a small power steering leak from one of the hose fittings. ( lesson learned: Listen to the tech from time to time).None of these issues will prevent you from driving this car wherever you want togo but I wanted to point these things out that most likely you want to fix these small problems over time.That's about it. Great car, blast to drive this head turner, ery quick andfun to get challenged by some young man in a Jag or Vette!!

Forgot to mention: Brand new battery and brakes all the way around including rotors ( one month ago)
