1966 Mercedes Benz 250SE CoupeThis 1966 pillar-less Mercedes Benz 250 SE Coupe with its large chrome plated grille and hood ornament represents one of the most prominent and easily recognizable cars from this generation. In my opinion the Coupe version of the W111 is simply one of the most beautiful cars ever produced by Mercedes Benz. This particular example is very clean and solid all around. The body of the car has no rust. and the undercarriage is very clean and solid. (see photos). Exterior white paint shines beautifully and is well complimented by bright and clear chrome trim all around. The vehicle's gorgeous red leather interior is set off by spotless red velour carpeting. and gorgeous original wood accents. The original Macassar Ebony wood trim along the dash and instrument bezels are still in excellent condition and show beautifully. Gorgeous and near flawless ivory white steering wheel really sets off this interior. The 250 SE is powered by the 2. 5 liter bullet proof fuel injected straight six cylinder engine. This vehicle runs drives strong. and the manual 4 speed transmission shifts smooth. The only power option offered on this example is the power moon-roof that operates smoothly.
