Very Nice, Low Miles California Mercedes 560SL Convertible and Hardtop

This auction is for a very nice 1988 560SL that I am selling for a client of mine from his collection of classic Mercedes Benz.

It has very nice Champagne Metallic paint with only a few small scratches or chips on the edge of the drivers door which are only visible when you look for them. The hardtop matches the color of the rest of the body and the dark brown soft top is in very good condition as well. The interior is a light beige and the seats are the almost indestructible MB-Tex material and are very clean. The wood is clean and crack free. The headliner and sun visor is like new.

Things like clock, ir conditioning, nterior thermometer and electric mirror adjustment, tc. still work. Even the factory automatic stereo antenna works smoothly.

The wheels are in very good condition and the tires are all evenly worn with about half their tread life remaining. The spare tire is still the original, nused Michelin and the wheel has the factory Cosmolene protective coating.

It is amazing how fast this car is, ven compared to today’s cars. All the while it sits firmly on the road and gives a very comfortable, et solid feeling ride. It only has run a little over 60000 original miles and is easily good for another 60000 miles without any major repairs.

I welcome having the car inspected here in Los Angeles prior to the end of the auction.

A 20% down-payment is due with 2 days after the end of the auction and the full payment is due with 10 days. The cost of transportation, ick-up or delivery of the car is the responsibility of the winning bidder/ buyer, ut I will help with reasonable pick-up or delivery arrangements.
