2005 (last year of C5) Audi Allroad 2.7T
Purchased the car 2 years ago with 113k miles. It now has 126K miles
With the car being our daily driver transporting 2 small children, OTHING was spared to keep it maintained. I not only had the car inspected by a certified mechanic prior to buying it but I had a large number of important maintenance done by a certified specialist before driving it. The following is a list of work done in the past 24 months:
Maintenance done immediately upon purchase at a cost of $2,400:
- Complete timing belt service including new water pump, hermostat, ollers, ensioner, tc.
- Replaced LH & RH valve cover gaskets and timing chain gaskets
- Replaced RH and LH front axle CV boots
Ongoing maintenance over the past 2 years at a cost of $4000+:
- In May of 2014 transmission started slipping (to no surprise if you are familiar with Audis !) which was addressed with a complete transmission rebuild at a cost $2500 still under warranty until 5/10/2016
- New front brake rotors and pads installed in April 2015
- Spark plugs replaced
- Secondary air pump replaced to clear CEL. Car passed emission test in August of 2015. Good to go for another 2 years.
- Fuel Pump replaced in November 2015
- BRAND NEW set of All-Season tires (Kumho Ecsta PA31) installed not even 1000 miles ago in January 2016. Receipt and warranty included.
All receipts of the maintenance above available at the total cost $6,000+ !
My reserve is set even below the amount that was in maintenance alone.
If you are in the market for an Audi Allroad, o your homework and very carefully check the maintenance records for the Allroad (or any older Audi for that matter). Anything that needed attention in this car has been addressed. Only reason for selling is because we are buying a 2014 Allroad with keyless go and all the new tech to make life easier with 2 kids.
