1972 Mercedes Benz 450SL, Euro Bumpers, Emblem Hubcaps, 107K Miles For Parts or?

Up for auction is this 1972 Mercedes 450SL as pictured. The pictures can tell you probably about the same as I can but I will offer some information. The car has rust, oes not run but will crank over and in my opinion is best for parts. Has a nice set of chrome Euro bumpers and a matching set of 4 color coded hubcaps. Rust is through in portions of the trunk and I haven't even taken a look underneath as I do believe this is best served as a parts car. I am cleaning out a lot of cars after years of accumulation and just don't have the space or time for a lot of them any more.
Take a look at the pictures, f you have any specific questions I will be glad to assist. The car rolls and steers fine (though the driver door doesn't want to open from the outside, pens fine from the inside though) so transport should not be a problem. I can de;liver if within a reasonable distance for a fee as well but I will be glad to help load it with your tranporter.

Great source of parts and the Mercedes SL series from 1972-1989 is gaining some traction with collectors now that Pagodas are starting to escalate, o it is just normal for the next in the series to gain popularity and increase value.
