Full major service performed at 100k including front and rear brakes and rotors, pdated crankcase breather valve and turbo inlet seal, uel filter, ngine air filter, abin air filter, rive belt. Transmission valve body electronics recently repaired (known 722.6 transmission issue) along with full transmission service. Rear hatch struts replaced. Vacuum pump re-sealed.
This vehicle has been my wife's daily driver for the last 2 years. The vehicle is in excellent condition with only a few exterior cosmetic defects such as minor rock chips on the front bumper and a few dings that could easily be PDR'd. I own a German Auto repair facility and have personally maintained the vehicle. This vehicle has loads of power but still averages 21mpg around town and upwards of 26mpg on the highway. If not for the need for a larger vehicle I would undoubtedly keep it as I feel this to be the "perfect Mercedes SUV". The sport suspension installed does away with the known AirMatic maintenance nightmare and makes the otherwise "wallowy" W164 chassis feel tight and responsive. Couple the handling with the OM642 diesel engine's torque and you have yourself an amazing sport utility.
