This special edition of the 2002 SL class was made to celebrate the original “Silver Arrow” racecar from 1930. 2002 was the last year of the 129 model era. There were only 1550 units ever built. Each of the limited production SL’s were finished in Silver Arrows metallic paint. It has special 18” inch chrome wheels which were specially made just for the Silver Arrow. The interior provides a brushed aluminum instrument cluster with chrome bezels. special aluminum trim wind deflector. aluminum brushed shift gate. paddles and trunk lid trim. Seats. steering wheel and shifter knob are finished in two-tone leather “dove gray” with “charcoal” leather. This Silver Arrow has only 51. 53 pampered miles. Please take a look at all the detailed pictures and judge by yourself. It is in almost flawless condition. non smoker and comes with a clean Carfax history report. This SL was always garage kept. shows stunning and is in excellent condition considering age and miles. The Silver Arrow special metallic paint is in absolute outstanding condition without any dings. dents or heavy scratches. All panels are absolutely straight and original without any repaints. You might find a few 1-2 mm stone chips in the front. but that’s all. There are some minor fine scratches underneath the front bumper which you can only see when you are on your knees. No chips or broken plastic parts what so ever. The rims look great with only minimal signs of curb rush on one of the four wheels (pointed out in one of the pictures). The interior looks amazing without any signs of abuse. The leather seats look great and still feel firm and supple. All wood is nice without fading or cracks. carpets are super clean without any holes or stains. Let me know if you need a close up picture from any area and I am more than happy to send it to you. The car comes with both tops. the hard top is in excellent condition including a new headliner. The soft top has just recently been replaced. It looks like new except for some very minor surface scratches on the right rear plastic window (please take a look at the pictures). The mechanical condition is superb and the car needs nothing but a new owner. The SL has a very well documented service history. It was always serviced at Mercedes-Benz facilities. The last maintenance was done less than 500 miles ago at MB of Fort Walton Beach in Florida which included new front and rear brake rotors and brake pads. The car has been thoroughly inspected. The 315 hp engine with its 347 feet of torque runs wonderful and makes the SL a reliable daily driver. The Silver Arrow comes with all books and one key.
