1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL Roadster Convertible Silver 380 SL Located in Dallas TX

For sale is my silver 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL convertible.

The good: Starts right up every time. Very sporty v8, un to drive and gets a lot of attention on the road. Brand new tires with zero miles on them just put on the car. Brand new battery. Nice stereo. All original inside and under the hood. New spark plugs, ires, il, luids. The car is fine as is but could use a paint job and some upholstery/interior work. Soft top and removable hard top. I have clean carfax showing no issues and a great score, nd clean/clear Texas title. This is an antique vehicle and most likely the next hot collectible Mercedes SL that you can still get for a low price. The car is located in the Dallas area and has been here its entire life. No rust on the car, reat restoration candidate or just fix it up and enjoy as is.

The bad: AC needs new compressor and is not working. Soft top is torn. Paint is weak.Odometer stopped working. Car is putting out a lot of smoke from the tailpipe after overfilling the oil during a recent oil change. Appears to be burning off excess oil but I am not a mechanic, o selling as-is. Selling because I don't have time to work on this project anymore with newborn in the house and never got around to restoring it. I would not call this car a full project because it doesn't need toomuch, ut it does need some work to get it running smoothly.
