1984 Mercedes soft/hard top (2 tops) convertible

Up for auction is a 1984 Mercedes Benz 380 SL convertible with both soft and removable hard top - both in excellent condition. The engine is a 3.8 liter or 232 CID fuel injected V8 (218 HP/224 ft/lb torque). The car has power windows, ower mirrors, /C, ruise control, 4" M/B wheels (freshly powder coated), adial tires, wheel power disc brakes, riginal spare tire, ool roll/tools, love compartment owners book, oft and hard top release and tighten tool. This car has 103,143 miles. Car is registered in PA and passed PA state inspection in 2014. Car registration has since been switched to Antique classification (no state inspection required in PA). Original radio has been replaced with an AM/FM/sirius/XM radio.
In January of 2012 the car was on a battery charger and the battery exploded. We called the insurance company to report incidental damage in the trunk where the battery is located and they replaced the battery.
The car has been out of ALL weather conditions (garaged) since we bought it in March of 2003.
We've had many wonderful getaways in this fun little roadster. Time to sell - downsizing!
