From the factory, hese SL65 AMG Roadsters are the flagship convertibles built to be over the top. New this vehicle had an MSRP over $187,000, nd was ordered with all of the goodies! Keyless Go, entilated and Heated Seats, avigation, OSE Audio, nd a Panoramic Roof just to name a few. As it sat, his SL65 AMG was built for a king, nd would be more than plentiful to any discerning car lover. To some, t could be brought a little farther, ade a little more aggressive, nd look the part for a $200,000 car. This particular SL65, s the car for those people.

Completely rebuilt, his SL65 is a custom masterpiece. To start, he car is fitted with a Prior Design Black Series Widebody kit. This is not a bolt on bodykit. This is a highly intricate, nd extremely precise install, onverting the standard SL to the looks of an SL65 Black Series. Wider fenders front and rear, ew sideskirts, ront bumper, ront carbon fiber lip, ear bumper, ear carbon fiber diffuser, ear decklid, nd hood have all been upgraded to create the look. To further make finalize this look, he car has been upgraded to R230 v2 headlamps (2009 and newer), nd SL63 AMG Tail Lights, ith the smoked center portion. After fitting the kit, he car was resprayed in Ferrari Grigio Silverstone by the infamous StrasseSport in Los Angeles, A. The end result: one of the prettiest SL’s in the world. The suspension has been slightly modified with the use of Adjustable Links, nd a factory calibration via the SDS System at a Mercedes Benz dealership. To finish it off, he car is on a set of custom Forged D2 Forged wheels finished in matching Grigio Silverstone with a Polished lip. The 3 piece concave wheels look massive on the car, nd show off the Verde Ithaca Painted AMG Brakes perfectly. The pads have been changed to Ceramic to keep the stopping power high and the brake dust low! The car rolls on 265/35/20 and 325/25/20 Pirelli P-zero Tires. Performance wise, he car has had it’s ECU upgraded, s well as a resonator delete. The sound and performance of this car are breathtaking. It sounds more like a speedboat then a car, nd the pull due to the almost 700 horsepower and 850 foot pounds of torque is intoxicating. It is not a car for an amateur, nd in the wrong hands, ould be deadly. Make sure you keep the ESP turned ON! The Burl Wood has been replaced with Carbon Fiber everywhere, hich looks phenomenal. The door panels and center console weave ties in great with the dark Natural Gray Full Leather of the car. The Shift knob has the slightest accent of Verde Ithica, hich was done to subtly tie into the brakes.
