Mercedes-Benz 300D 26k miles

1979 MB 300D 26000 miles. This car was owned by a Mercedes Master mechanic with 40 years experience, hen he passed away his son decided to make this a show car in his father's honor. The entire car was rebuilt mechanically with Mercedes only parts at 209,509 miles in 2005 and was always garaged it sits at 236,036 now. The engine, ransmission, njection pump, xhaust, rive shaft, ear end, rakes, uspension ect... when rebuilding everything was replaced and has records and receipts for all. For example when rebuilding rear end/suspension all bushing, earings, ounts., pring, hocks, v axles, ardware, il, epainted were replaced with OEM Mercedes parts. Same goes for motor trans brakes ( even calipers) vacuum system. Car was sanded to bare metal and repainted. All trim and rubber replaced. All door hardware. New steering box. New carpet/refinished wood. Since buying the car 2 years ago I pulled the gas tank flushed and passivated it, eplaced the in-tank filter and sending unit and fuel lines. I rebuilt the mechanical fuel injector with larger nozzles to allow the car to keep up with modern traffic, ew Michelin tires 5k miles ago, ll new front brakes, otors, ensors 200 miles ago. I live in Texas and the stock a/c is not enough to keep up with the heat so I designed and built a new a/c system using a Sanden 7 cylinder compressor, ew lines, ew parallel flow condenser, ouble end cap pag oil, 25 watt 14" Maradyne fan, ew expansion valve, ew temp sensor. It runs at 42 degrees when it was 100 degrees out. The only things I can think of is the dash has small crack in top middle and the seats have small cracks showing from being older leathe, hese were the only things left to change to have this car ready for show. I tried to give as much info as possible, ar runs and drives amazing and has basically 26000 on full mechanical rebuild if I have missed anything it hasn't been intentional, hat said having a car rebuilt is with 26000 is better than one with 26000 original mile due to the fact all seals and other consumables are new and will last a lot longer.
