This will be a wonderful project car for lovers of what in 1974 was considered the Best Car in the World.I bought "El Jefe" about 2 years ago for $4100. from an ebay seller- his description from when I bought it is attached. I have spent an additional $3000. on the great beast and am now ready to turn him over to a new owner. Starts immediately always and is so smooth on the road...but in the interest of full disclosure needs an assortment of items. In no particular order: dash lights require careful turning of brightness knob to go on. Left temp control arm on climate controls is missing- a/c is intact but inoperable. Heat works great. Clock works sometimes. Sunroof is awesome but sometimes requires coaching to fully close. All power windows work. There is a rain leak somewhere, ut as you can see from the exposed floor pics there is no rust issue or headliner discoloration. There are tiny dash cracks and the cruise control is inop. The antennae goes up and down at its convenience. The paint is dull on the roof and rear deck lid, nd there are chips- and a Dr. Colorchip chip repair kit. It looks great from a distance! All of these frailties may be expected in a 42 year old car- I love it anyway and likely so shall you! By the way, ll the deficiencies were present when I bought it- want to share with you what I did not know. Will sell as miles exempt as I can't swear to the odometer reading. I have clear title. I have done a myriad of small jobs to the car- like upholstery(vinyl), attery, mall suspension items, loor mats, nd a bit of basic maintenance. Tires are good Michelins. I have included many pictures- please look at them carefully and if you decide you want to jump into a special project, id! I am selling as I have too many cars including other projects. I wish I could make sense of keeping them all...Good luck!
