1983 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel S-Class 300-Series 5cyl 3.0 W126 Leather

Up for your consideration is a 1983 Diesel Mercedes 300SD. This S-Class has the famous 5 cyl turbo diesel that have been known to be extremely reliable and built to last. The car starts up every time, uns and drives pretty good. She gets about 28mpg on the highway. These cars are very simple to work on with no computers or complex emissions controls, nd very basic electronics.
This car does run and drive, ut please keep in mind, t is 33 years old and has a few minor quirks.
The leather interior was all reupholstered a few years back and looks great! Tires are in good shape with lots of tread on them. A/C compressor turns on but could use a recharge, lows but not super cold. Breaks work fine. Lights all work. It's a classic ride that's built like a German tank.
Areas worth noting:
The passenger automatic window recently stopped working (I think it's just a loose wire).
This is a Florida car and has some heat / sun cracks in the dash and woodwork. See photos. No noticed exterior rust, ut has a few spots around the trunk seal. Not visible from the outside. The corners on the hood are slightly bent where the hood meet the windshield, ot very noticeable but worth noting, ee photos. Shocks could use replacing in the near future. An alignment wouldn't hurt either, ut still drives as is. Odometer is not currently working, ommon on these older Mercedes. Mileage is unknown.
