Hello, adly I'm selling my Legendary Mercedes 1976 240D. Very hard to find burgundy exterior over camel interior. This car is in great condition, sthetically and mechanically, as low miles for the year (under 98k) garage kept, on-smoker. This is a very well maintained car. It can be used for daily drives (can go up to 30 mpg), reat investment (the price going up for the car more and more every year). It'is a great historical piece. The interior is in very good condition with no cracks, o rips, o tears. Engine is one of the best Diesel engines that Mercedes has ever produced for a 240 D, his car in comparison to others is peppy.In 2004 a Greek taxi driver donated his 1976 Mercedes-Benz 240D to the Mercedes-Benz Museum Collection with 4.6 million kilometers on the odometer, hich is recognised as the Mercedes-Benz with the highest recorded mileage known to date. Transmission is in excellent condition with no hesitations or hard shifting, uspension feels tight and well ballanced. The car also recently received its regular maintenance service including engine oil, ilter and all other fluids including transmission radiator etc.etc. Radio is original Becker, n proper working condition. The AC has been converted to the new version R134 (new compressor). Breaks and tires are in very good condition. There is no vibration or funny noises. As a Mercedes enthusiast I've been driving and trying many of this truly amazing machines and proudly I'm able to say none of them drove the same as this one.The reason I'm selling this car is due to my health issue.The car is under my name and everything is ready for the new lucky buyer.Registration valid till Feb, 017.
