MERCEDES-BENZ, S420, 1997, 61,000 MILES

I am a dealer and I am closing the car lot and moving to the country. This was my wife's car, efore she developed Alzheimers and could not drive. I have put a lot of money/upkeep into it and cannot ever sell it for what it is really worth so someone will get a hell of a deal. I painted it last month and the body and bumpers are perfect. No, ot rust or damage; just too many carwashes ate the paint off. It has never been damaged and has never seen rust. I added wind vents but you can peel them off if you like. The Drivers bottom seat is a mess and needs to be replaced, f you care. The drivers outside mirror is a bit loose but works fine. Both front and back windshields have cracks. Not urgent, ut replace if you like....Passes inspection since crack is on passenger side.....Runs like a dream; cold air; etc.
This week I replaced the front bushings, 1000.00, ince it was vibrating a bit.

TRUE MILEAGE DISCLOSURE; 60962 miles;CARFAX states that the speedometer was changed/rolledback, n 4/1/06 to 40159 from 49770 the month before. This would have removed 9611 miles, hich is a stupid thing to do since it isn't a very big change and wasn't worth the trouble. Hence, don't believe it. What is more likely is that there is a typo somewhere and what they really did is change it to 30159 (versus 41059) which would really enhance the value by taking off 19611 miles. So, tarting from there; my wife added 5596 during the next 10 years and they had removed 19611 miles so the true mileage is about 60962. (35755+19611+5596). As of this date. Nothing else makes any sense;Now; you don't have to tell this to anyone since the car is over ten years old, ut I don't want anyone finding it out later and bitching about it. There are lots of reasons for changing speedometers, hey break too, o who knows what happened. If it was a Katrina car, here was no reason to change the mileage since it wasn't bad at 49770. And, f there was any Katrina damage, t has long-since been fixed during the 10 years I have had it. I am keeping an identical 1995 model which has 252000 and is perfect.
Now...I AM HOLDING A CLEAR TITLE, owever, bay found that somewhere it is listed as being salvaged, n 2000 so I have to list it that way...I have complained that someone has made a mistake but they won't respond. Salvaged, r not, hat was 16 years ago, nd it is irrelevant. We have loved the car and repaired anything that didn't work right and driven it happily for about 5 years.
NADA book value is $6662.00 regardless of mileage.
NOTICE the speedometer says 35000 so it you want to make some money, nbsp;this is your chance.
