Vintage Dark Blue Mercedes Benz 300 Turbo Diesel

This Merc, s inexcellentcondition - for a car withan engine life expectancy of500,000 miles before a rebuild, t 182k it's still less than middle aged! I've been driving it 3 - 4 times a week for the last 2.5 years, ven driving it to Palm Springs and back and have had only a couple of issues. First I replaced the original starter with a cheap generic option, his broke, did the same thing again, hat broke so I had a $500 Bosch one installed. Since then she starts every time. Second the cooling hose cracked, ad this replaced in October of last year and have had no further problems. Apart from this the only problems I've had are with the sunroof and central locking; the sunroof needs to be replaced, t partially opens now but will get stuck if opened too far. The central locking works most of the time but occasionally wont lock/unlock the other doors along with the drivers door. I was swiped by a driver last December which resulted in the left front signal being smashed and the panel needing to be resprayed, his has been done.

Mechanically this car is very sound. The engine in this car performs nicely with good power and torque. Itis a Turbodiesel model and it accelerates well through all gears. This car has a lot of pick up for a diesel. There are no leaks in theexhaust and it is smooth running at all speeds. The alignment is true with no pulling during braking with no excess play in thesteering wheel. The brakes are strong. Two tires were recently replaced and are in great shape. This car has manyyears of trouble free motoring to come.

Crucially for Socal the AC blows cold.

This car is in immaculatecondition and sincebeingbrought here from Germany, as spent it's life in Southern California. The body work is rust free and it comes in a very desirable Midnight Blue color, t also has the original German alloys.The car paint is vibrant and in good condition with some minor imperfections.

The interior is spotless minus a rip in the sunroof fabric, part from this it's all original and in working order and the centerconsolecontrols arestill inGerman.The seats are firm and comfortable and in good shape.The headliner is in good shape and the carpet is in great condition.It also has the small European style bumpers and square headlights.

All the glass is in excellent shape and the emblems are shiny and in excellent condition. The front grill is in excellent shape. All trim isin place and in excellent condition.

I replaced the radio with a bluetooth/USB JVC model and upgraded the speakers, also installed a microphone for hands free calling.
