UP FOR SALE TODAY IS MY 1998 MERCEDES-BENZ E320 4MATIC WAGON. I BOUGHT THIS CAR LAST NOVEMBER FROM THE NEW ENGLAND AREA. I HAVE DRIVEN IT EVERYDAY SINCE THEN AND HAS NOT LET ME DOWN. IT HAD AROUND 169K MILES WHEN I BOUGHT IT. I HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR EVERYWHERE WITH PIECE OF MIND KNOWING THAT (1) ITS A MERCEDES-BENZ AND (2) THAT I HAVE DONE THENECESSARY REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE. I DROVE THIS CAR FROM NYC TO MIAMI AROUND MIAMI AND BACK TO NYC, TOTAL OF 3200 MILES IN THE SPACE OF 10 DAYS NO PROBLEMS. THEN I DROVE IT TO NEW HAMPSHIRE TWICE A TOTAL OF 920 MILES. TO PHILADELPHIA AND BACK A FEW TIMES. YOU GET THE IDEA AND I HAVE BEEN MANY PLACES WITH THIS CAR AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE RIGHT NOW TO DRIVE THIS TO CALIFORNIA, O PROBLEM. IM ONLY SELLING BECAUSE MY WIFE IS INTO THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE OF A CAR AND SHE WOULD LIKE TO DRIVE SOMETHING THAT IS 6 YEARS OLD OR NEWER (MODERN) SO YEAH MY TASTE IN CARS IS MORE OLDER, ND SHE HATES THE RUST SPOTS SHE GAVE ME AN ULTIMATUM TO FIX IT AND SHE WOULD BE COOL WITH THE CAR BUT I WAS BUSY WITH THE MAINTENANCE THEN SHE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A NEWER CAR. SO THIS HAS TO GO, SO SAD) BECAUSE ITS A SOLID, AFE AND RELIABLE CAR THAT I LOVE. ITS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO AN SUV, NLY WITH BETTER HANDLING AND GAS MILAGE BECAUSE IT HAS 3 ROWS OF SEATS (2 MORE FOLDED IN THE TRUNK) AND A GREAT 4WD SYSTEM THAT GRIPS THE ROAD VERY WELL NO MATTER WHAT CONDITION THE WEATHER IS. THEMAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS HAVE BEEN DONE ON IT. THESE ARE AS FOLLOWS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE IS ALSO LABOUR. IT MAY NOT SEEM THAT EXPENSIVE BECAUSE I KNOW THE MECHANIC PERSONALLY AND WHEN HE BUYS THE PARTS HE GETS A DISCOUNT ON PARTS AND HE GIVES ME DISCOUNT ON LABOUR.

REPLACED: REPLACED FUEL SYSTEM LINE FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR TO THE BACK. $350
REPLACED: HYDRAULIC LINES FOR THE SELF LEVELING SUSPENSION AND POWER STEERING. ALSO REPLACE FAULTY ACCUMULATORS THAT HELP THE REAR SUSPENSION TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. $540
REPLACED: FRONT RIGHT CV AXLE. I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW AXLE OFF EBAY. $280
REPLACED: FRONT BRAKE PADS. $50
REPLACED: ONE TYRE, EMOVED ABOUT 3 SEIZED/ BROKEN WHEEL STUDS AND LUBED THE OTHERS, YRE ROTATION $70.
BOUGHT: $50. DIPSTICK TO PERIODICALLY CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL. THE SYSTEM DOES NOT CARRY A DIPSTICK FROM THE FACTORY. SYSTEM IS MOSTLY SEALED. ITS YOUR WHEN CAR IS PURCHASED.
THERE MAYBE OTHERMISCELLANEOUS REPAIRS I HAVE DONE TO THIS CAR BUT I CANT REMEMBER RIGHT NOW. THE OTHER CONS OF THE CAR IS THE OBVIOUS RUST, HICH IS NOT MAJOR, TS ONLY BODY RUST, HE UNDERCARRIAGE IS NORMAL. THERE IS A SLIGHT CLUNKING SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT END. SO I BOUGHT A BUNCH OF FRONT END PARTS THAT I DIDNT NEED BEFORE TAKING IT TO THE MECHANIC. THE WHOLE FRONT END CHECKS OUT FINE IT ONLY NEEDS SWAY BAR BUSHINGS AND AN ALIGNMENT, HAD THE ALIGNMENT DONE $50. BUT NOT YET THE SWAY BAR BUSHINGS. SO I WILL THROW IN THE FRONT END PARTS WHICH INCLUDES, ALL JOINTS, ONTROL ARM BUSHINGS AND SWAY BAR LINKS. THE AIR BAG LIGHTS COMES ON NOW AND THEN. OVERALL ITS A VERY SOLID AND RELIABLE CAR MOST OF THE MAJOR THINGS THAT THIS CAR IS KNOWN FOR HAS BEEN REPLACED/ REPAIRED, HE ONLY MAIN ISSUE, S THE FEW RUST SPOTS AND FOR THE FAN FOR THE HEAT/ AC TO BLOW HIGHER, GAIN THE AC WORKS AND THE HEAT WORKS ITS JUST THAT IT BLOWS ON THE MINIMUM. IN THE WINTER THE HEAT WARMS THE CAR UP BUT IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE BIT LONGER BECAUSE THE FAN BLOWS ON MINIMUM. THE RESERVE IS LOW, O WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. DOWN PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS WITH FULL PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS SO ARRANGE TO GET HERE AND INSPECT AND PAY FOR THE CAR BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS. IF YOU NEED TIME TO PICK UP THE CAR PAY FOR IT IN FULL BEFORE THE 3 DAYS END AFTER THE AUCTION AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE TITLE AND HOLD THE CAR UNTIL YOU CAN PICK IT UP, O EXCEPTIONS.
