Vintage 1953 Mercedes 170 SV 4 Door Car Project to Restore

We purchased in New Orleans in 1982. It was driven to the French Quarter on weekend outings for a couple of years & replaced by a BMW that was more fun to run around the Big Easy. The Mercedes was then disassembled with the dream of doing a ground up restoration which has not happened. The car has been stored since in 1984. We have fenders, ood & etc that were removed.

The original wool material is gone & the seats are down to the springs & framework.

Car is in Sargen, Nebraska.
