1972 Mercedes Benz 350SL 1st Year SL California Survivor 63k Convertible

1972 Mercedes Benz 350SL Convertible. This is the first year of the R107 style and a one year only nameplate, 350SL. It has the world class reliable 4.5 Liter V8 Mercedes engine. Only 63k miles. Garage stored. Factory Midnight Blue paint shows well even up close with few signs of age. The soft top is in mint condition with no signs of age. This SL was recently on a 300 mile trip and it is ready to drive anywhere. Current California registration good through April 2017. Clean California title included.
No dents or dings. One family owned until this year. Stored for years by the original owners in a garage in Southern Calilfornia before it was brought back to life around 2 years ago. Within the last 6 months it got a new power steering pump, new fuel pump, new distributor points,dist cap/rotor, spark plugs (correct ones), vacuum hoses all replaced, battery terminals, power window switches (working great), front headlight caps, full power steering system flush, cooling system and radiator flush, fuelsystem flushed and cleaned as well, and all the other basic tune up tasks.
Original and desirable Nardi Wood Mercedes steering wheel. Complete set of the original owners manuals, purchase documents, tools, and original spare wheel/tire. Original factory chrome wheel well moldings with no damage underneath (removed to confirm and to show they are OEM Mercedes). Every option including A/C (A/C is the only thing that needs repair). Clean body with all original panels and zero repairs. The interior is all original and the leather seats and door panels are in excellent condition. All the stainless bright work chrome is in nice condition including the bumpers. The original 4.5 V8 starts right up and runs smooth and strong, no smoking or leaks. The steering is tight, brakes work as they should and the transmission shifts properly. It stays cool and runs great. Pre smog. Hardtop is in storage and it is included.
All the lights, gauges, and electronics work. All the glass is good. The doors open and close like new and all the panels line up nicely. The floors and frame are clean as shown. The entire SL is nearly 100% rust free. There is a tiny spot on the passenger front rocker and a slight hard to see bubble on the trunk lid. No accidents ever.
