This new generation Sl is much lighter and it shows in the way it handles. gone are the old tank feel and the response to your steering input is immediate but not jarring. New transmission has more gears and shifts faxter so all that twin turbo power is put to very good use. This car is as quick as the old Sl55 or SL63 and frankly handles much better and with better sound system and noise isolation. All in all a better car in every respect as we would come to expect from mercedes.
