mercedes-benz 280sl 1969

We bought this car 20 years ago from a friend who was the original owner.It is original excepting for the radio and engine. Our friend was the local Volvo dealer and when the local Mercedes Benz dealer owed him money it was paid by putting a new engine in this car at 62k. The car has been serviced by the same mechanic through both owners.

On Aug-11-16 at 12:51:10 PDT, seller added the following information:

Yesterday our neighbor, who deals in exotic cars, and I looked very closely at the car. We discovered that there was rust under the mat in the trunk. Please look at the picture. The gasket is bad and has been leaking when the car was washed. Also discovered that the new engine was at 60k.
