Very Rare 2008 Mercedes - Benz G55 AMG
I Purchased used in 2014 from Mercedes-Benz of North Myrtle Beach. I have babied this vehicle since purchase ensuring that all A and B services were complete by MB dealer and that any issue covered by the CPO warranty were taken care of. The previous owner had taken care of the vehicle very well too. The paint is in much better shape than an 8 year old vehicle typically. I personally hand buff and wax the vehicle including Griots glass paste on the windows. I keep the vehicle in the garage and drive it daily. The engine is hand built and signed by the Engineer. I have added K&N Filters and the vehicle has every available option since it is the AMG model.
Since purchase, I have had the headliner replaced as well as sunroof drains under CPO warranty. Drivers door lock and Passenger Door handle were replaced under warranty. The SRS sensor in the passenger seat was replaced under warranty as well as the controls for the air into the driver's seat. I replaced both of the rear window regulators in the last year. I also had the Brake fluid drain and flush conducted in June 2015 which is recommended by owner's boards but not included in the A or B service. Vehicle has been serviced by Rick Hill Imports in Kingsport, TN since I have owned it. My G has updated 20" AMG wheels black & Silver with 285/55/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. There is less than 2000 miles on the new tires. I also still have the original 2008 Grey 18" AMG wheels. They sell for $2400 each and I will include them for an extra $1000 for all 4 if desired. The vehicle is pictured with the old wheels except for the 1st picwhich shows the new wheels and tires. The old wheels are not perfect. They had some dings when I purchased the G back in '14 but they are in very good condition and very repairable if you have a lathe or know someone who does rimrepair.
Since I was a small boy, I have been a car person. I have always wanted a G-Wagen. I had looked many times but typically a new model was out of my price range and a used one had too many miles (>250k). The hand built engines in the AMG models will go for hundreds of thousands of miles if cared for. When I came across this car while on vacation, the stars were aligned and I jumped at the opportunity. It has been a dream. I love the Wagen. Alas, the time has come for my oldest daughter to go off to college and in the interest of paying for her education without loans, I have decided to sell my Wagen and downgrade for a bit.
I do have a lien against the vehicle with my credit union and it will take 10-14 days from the day the loan is paid off to receive the title. I will forward the title UPS overnight once received or we can wait until I receive it for you to pickup the vehicle.
