2001 Mercedes Benz AMG S55 Sedan **** 80,000 original miles

This is a 2001 Mercedes Benz AMG S55 four door sedan. This was the launch vehicle of the AMG supercar line introduced in 2001. With an MSRP well over $100,000 this incredible car was in such great demand that prices quickly rose in excess of $150,000 shortly thereafter. This particular car was purchased by us in 2001 with less than 800 original miles and has been in the same family ever since. It has been regularly serviced and garaged since new in California until August of 2008 and then driven sparingly at our home in Western New York since.
The car runs beautifully and has never had any collision damage or paintwork. The interior is immaculate without any issues whatsoever. The body is in excellent condition but has a few minor bubbles in the paint on the lower panels.
Mechanically, the car runs and drives very smoothly. The AMG cars come with the ABC suspension system which is hydraulically operated and raises and lowers based upon driving conditions. This particular car has had the tandem hydraulic pump replaced in the last month but will require the hydraulic line from that pump control to the rear suspension replaced. We have replaced this car with a 2016 S550 coupe and have decided to sell the S55 allowing the next owner to complete the line repair.
Tires and brakes are excellent. Brand new battery this month. The can has a clean NY State title and is sold free and clear of any liens and or encumbrances. While this S55 sedan is a very nice vehicle, it is never the less being sold as-is, where-is without any guarantees or warranties in force whatsoever.
