Up for sale is our family vehicle, of which we have really enjoyed during our ownership. It is our favorite color combination, White on black and has 102,000 miles on it. It is in very good shape and would give the interior a 9.5 out of 10, the .5 really only being a few plastic parts that just didn't seem to hold up on the steering wheel but an easy replacement. The outside is a solid 9, shines nicely and has never been in an accident but does have a few chips here and there that you would expect from a family grocery getter.
Mechanically the car is very solid and has been very well serviced. Prior to my ownership all service was done at the dealership inline with Mercedes expectation and at my Mercedes and BMW specialist since. It had a full service, all fluids and filters just earlier this summer so it will be good for the new owner for quite some time. The oil was also changed less than a thousand miles ago.
The vehicle has two new Michelin tires on the rear that are rated at 60,000 miles. The front tires are sitting at about 5 32nds of an inch if tread (10 is new and 2 is replace). The car also has two new rear shocks.
This vehicle makes you feel like you own the road and gives you a feeling of invincibility with its tank like solidness and superb German engineering. And with its 4.7L V8 you never run out of power. Road trips are where this SUV excels, tons of room with leather seating for 7, heated front and second row seats, quiet enough at 80mph to have a low volume conversation and comfortable as can be.
It might be obvious that I love this vehicle as I do, I hate to see it go but we had the opportunity to get something new and decided to let it go. NADA is a bit over $17K, priced to sell since I have 4 cars and need to get down to 2. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
